Situated on the north slope of the Grand Mesa in western Colorado, this scenic 1,720+/- acre mountain ranch is highlighted by excellent big game hunting combined with abundant water resources and agricultural production. The diverse landscape rises from lower-elevation irrigated meadows and oaks up through expansive aspen and conifer forests that reach to the national forest boundary along two sides. Several creeks course through separate drainages on the ranch providing water for fishing, wildlife, livestock, and irrigation of hay meadows and pastures. The resulting wildlife habitat is ideal for a variety of species including elk, mule deer, moose, black bear, cougar, and turkey. In addition to wild brook trout in Grove Creek, there are a number of ponds well suited for stocking.
